Transfer: Man Utd would pay £84.8m in three years, offer £192,000-a-week to sign striker – Report
The Italian news source have mentioned that the Naples-based side were mainly searching for a goal keeper (Navas) but may even end up replacing their star striker with Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Old Trafford legend desperately wants to play in the Champions League and Jorge Mendes has been moving his case around Europe.
After getting turned down by the likes of Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid, the super agent has offered the Portuguese international to Napoli. President, Aurelio de Laurentiis is strongly tempted to lure Ronaldo.
CdS claim Man Utd want Osimhen as their main center forward and are ready to make an indecent offer worth 100 million euros to sign him. Moreover, they will allow Cristiano to move to the Italian club on loan and will also pay 85% of his salary.
However, De Laurentiis has asked for a fee of £110.4million (130 million euros) for his African forward.
It is stated that from a financial point of view, the deal would be amazing for Napoli and it would be difficult for the former Lille striker to say no to a move to the Premier League.
The final days of the transfer window are always tricky. Corriere della Sera claim United are formulating an offer and anything can happen.
