Man Utd ready to offer £73m fee and £21m terms to sign star

Milan Skriniar Inter Milan

Manchester United were linked with Inter Milan star Milan Skriniar when Portuguese boss, Jose Mourinho, was in charge of the club.

Now, as per recent reports going on in the media, the Slovakian international is in the lime light again.

According to Tutto Mercato Web, the Nerazzurri have made an offer of €2.5m-a-year to agree a new contract with the 24-year-old center half but no deal has been reached as yet.

In such a scenario, the Italian outlet have stated that Man Utd are ready to offer a fee of €85m (£73m) to the Serie A club and terms worth €5m-a-year (£21m until 2024) to Skriniar to bring him to Old Trafford.

Transfer: Man United doing ‘everything’ to agree signing of £100million attacker

The former Sampdoria defender is one of the best center halves in the Italian league and Inter would surely want to hold on to him but can they fight against the financial power of Manchester United?

I think the Red Devils can better any deal that Inter would offer Skriniar, who can earn a lot if he opts to move abroad.

If United do end up luring him then he should partner Lindelof in the central defense i.e. if they do not sign any other central defender.

Personally, I would love to have Koulibaly and Skriniar both in the team’s central defense next season. The duo have what it takes to form a formidable partnership to solve the defensive dilemma at Old Trafford once and for all.

For now, United should focus on earning Champions League qualification to attract the best of stars in the summer transfer window.
