According to Napoli Calcio Live, the Old Trafford outfit have the funds to convince Napoli to sell Anguissa in the summer.
The news source have mentioned that Man Utd are ready to offer a big deal to sign the Cameroon international, who currently takes home 3 million euros a season i.e. around £50,000 a week.
It is reported that Tottenham are also interested in signing the former Fulham midfielder. However, United may have the edge of Champions League football next season.
Anguissa made 58 appearances in the Premier League for the Cottagers before moving to Italy.
He has been an extremely important member of the Serie A side that has recently won the Scudetto under the guidance of Luciano Spalletti.
So far, the 27-year-old central midfielder has featured in 41 games in all competitions for the Naples based side and directly contributed in 10 goals (3 goals and 7 assists).
This term, United have benefited from the partnership of Casemiro and Eriksen in the center of the park but the duo are veterans and Ten Hag also needs to improve the depth of the department.
