Manchester United are likely to be one of the busiest teams during the summer transfer window. The Red Devils have a lot of business to do, both in terms of incoming and outgoings. The Red Devils have a lot of work to do to reinforce the squad.
The Red Devils have already completed the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves. The Brazilian is moving to Old Trafford on the back of an incredible season with the Premier League and is a smart acquisition by Man Utd.

One other player that Man Utd seem to be interested in is Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres. As per Maisfutebol, the Red Devils are ready to outbid rivals Arsenal to sign the talented striker who is looking to leave this summer.
Arsenal have recently made a formal offer for the 27-year-old striker. The Gunners have offered less than €60m in fixed fee for the talented striker, which falls short of Sporting’s valuation of €80m. Man Utd on the other hand are willing to offer close to €70m [£59.6m] including add-ons.
The Portuguese club find Man Utd’s offer short of their valuation as well. Juventus are another team interested in the striker who scored 54 goals and provided 13 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions for Sporting CP this season.
Arsenal also have RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko on their radar and if they feel they are being priced out in their pursuit for Gyokeres, they could shift their attention. This could give Man Utd a free run at the number nine.
Man Utd have a slight advantage thanks to the fact that Ruben Amorim and Gyokeres had an excellent working relationship at the Leões and it was the Portuguese tactician who helped bring the best out of the ex-Coventry striker.
However, in the absence of the Champions League or any European football for that matter, the Red Devils will have to go above and beyond to convince Gyokeres to trust their project. It remains to be seen how things play out on this front in the coming weeks.
