Ruben Amorim has started training Manchester United as he looks to transform the fortunes of the English side.
The Portuguese tactician was seen setting his team up in a 3-4-3 in practice, which included some surprises.

It is worth remembering here that many Manchester United players are away on international duty. Thus, Amorim deployed Luke Shaw as the left center-back, Leny Yoro as the right center-back and Antony as the right wing-back.
One player who caught the eye of Amorim in training was Mason Mount, who played in one of the three forward positions.
As the Portuguese manager continues to take stock of the squad, he is likely to also evaluate his options in the transfer market.
As per Daily Star, Man Utd owner is ready to sanction a deal to sign talented Portuguese winger Geovany Quenda who was given his chance by Ruben Amorim at Sporting. The boss is ready to bring in the 17-year-old and axe Antony from the squad.
Caught Offside also adds to the same narrative, claiming that the player has a £83.5m release clause in his contract. His performances have been so good that he has already been handed a call-up to the Portuguese senior squad.
To make room for Quenda, Man Utd are ready to sell Antony, either on loan or permanently. Despite the coach trying him out in the wing-back role, it is highly unlikely that he has a future going forward.
It remains to be seen if United are willing to fork so much money to sign a relatively unproven talent like Quenda.
It doesn’t make much sense on paper and Sporting are not going to do the Red Devils any favors. So, let’s wait and see how it goes.
