Of the many issues that have plagued Man Utd so far this season, the biggest one yet has been their inability to score goals. It does come to chance creation to an extent but even when they create chances, their strikers are unable to finish them off.
Rasmus Hojlund has not provided any kind of return on investment for Man Utd yet and the youngster hasn’t really adapted to the Premier League despite having spent more than 20 months in England at this point.

Joshua Zirkzee was brought in as the competition for the Dane but it is very evident now that the Dutchman doesn’t thrive being the number nine on the pitch. His strength seems to be playing behind a quality number nine and creating chances for him.
Now, as per Give Me Sport, Man Utd are ready to secure the signing of talented Wolves attacker Matheus Cunha who has been impressive in the Premier League so far this season. The Brazilian has an innate ability to know where the back of the net is.
The ex-Atletico Madrid starlet recently signed a new contract with Wolves but has a release clause worth around £62million in his contract that the Red Devils are prepared to trigger to secure his signature. However, Cunha is not an out-and-out striker.
The Brazilian is as much a creative playmaker as he is a goalscorer and can play anywhere across the front three in Ruben Amorim’s system. Matheus Cunha will add so much quality to the current Man Utd squad and will be an excellent signing.
If you still aren’t convinced that the South American will be a good addition, here is what Liverpool boss Arne Slot had to say about the player. He said:
“Matheus Cunha is a quality player and has the quality to play for one of the top five teams in England. If you go to the Dutch league and look at the team in 17th place, there is no player who could play for Ajax, PSV or Feyenoord.”
