Another day, another report linking Ousmane Dembele with a move from Barcelona to Manchester United.
The former Rennes attacker can be lured for free in the summer but the latest update today indicates that the Red Devils are prepared to sign the player before the end of this month’s transfer deadline.
Transfer: Rangnick approves deal – Man United prepare £100million move to finally sign star in summer
Yesterday, Diario ARA reported that Barcelona are looking to send Dembele to the Red Devils in order to lure the wage bill and want to hire Anthony Martial on loan.
Today, Sport have claimed (press image provided below) that Man Utd are ready to secure the signing of the French attacking midfielder this month if he decides not to sign a new deal with the Catalan giants. On the other hand, the Red Devils would agree to send Martial to Barca for six months.
As per reports, the numbers that Dembele and his agent are asking for renewal are baffling and therefore, it is unlikely that any new deal will be signed. According to ABC, the 24-year-old wants to double his £320,000 a week wages.
On the other hand, Sport have reported that the player’s agent demanded a signing on bonus of 45 million euros, 15 million euros for himself and 30 million euros for the Les Bleus attacker.
This season, Martial has only started 4 games in all competitions for Man Utd thus far, similarly, Dembele has only started 4 games for Barca in all competitions. In your opinion, should Man Utd offload the former Monaco man and lure Ousmane Dembele?
