The transfer saga surrounding Manchester United and Jadon Sancho has been dragged on for way too long and quite frankly, it is getting annoying.
As per a recent report covered by The Athletic, the Red Devils have cooled their interest in the England international and they are more focused on signing a center forward and a center back in the next transfer window.
Transfer: Man Utd can get signing done for £39million in summer – Face competition
However, reports coming from Germany have denied the claims made by The Athletic and state that Man Utd really want to secure the signing of Sancho.
According to Bild, the Premier League giants are still interested in the 20-year-old winger and they absolutely want to sign him in the summer transfer window.
The renowned German outlet have claimed that before the pandemic, the Three Lions star was valued at around 120 million euros but due to the financial implications of COVID-19, the market value should not be the same this time around.
Man Utd’s main first choice right winger is Mason Greenwood, who has recently signed a new contract with the club, but his form has not been good this term.
In all competitions, the youngster has featured in 31 games for the Old Trafford outfit, scored just 4 goals and provided 5 assists.
On the other hand, Jadon Sancho has been scoring and creating goals on regular basis since moving to Dortmund from Manchester City in 2018.
This season, so far, the £190,000-a-week star (The Mail) has directly contributed in 25 goals (10 goals and 15 assists) in just 29 appearances for the Bundesliga side.
Therefore, he will clearly be an upgrade for Solskjaer as far as the right wing position is concerned. In your view, should Man Utd move in to finally sign him this summer?
