Report – Man Utd set to agree £43million deal at least to secure signing

Manchester United remain heavily linked with Kim Min-Jae, who looks set to leave Napoli in order to move to Old Trafford.

The South Korean star picked up a yellow card in the last league contest vs Bologna and will not be featuring in the final game of the season against Sampdoria today.

According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport (news image provided below), the 26-year-old central defender will certainly greet the supporters after the game and it will be a “farewell greeting”

The famous Italian media outlet claim Man Utd will pay the clause that will allow Min-Jae to join them in the first fifteen days of the next month.

As far as the fee is concerned, it is reported that Man Utd are set to agree a deal of at least £43million (50 million euros) to secure the former Fenerbahce defender.

The Red Devils were unable to stop Manchester City from winning the FA Cup yesterday but they did defend well against the Sky Blues.

Two goals from outside the box undone United’s good defensive work and Ten Hag eventually ended his first season at Old Trafford with just the Carabao Cup.

Varane and Martinez have been Man Utd’s first choice central defensive partnership under the Dutch boss and in the absence of the Argentine, Lindelof has shown quality.

United may keep the Swedish star but must offload Harry Maguire, who does not have any future and only warmed the bench this term.
