Manchester United submitted an offer to sign Moroccan international, Sofyan Amrabat, in the January transfer window but the move failed.
The news has been confirmed by the African star’s agent, who believes his client could end up leaving Fiorentina in the summer transfer window.

Mohamed Sinouh told Kora Plus:
“Yes, we received more than one offer during the last winter transfer period, and on top of that was an offer from Manchester United, but the negotiations were not completed at the time.”
Amrabat was one of the stars at the FIFA World Cup for Morocco. The 26-year-old was a key member of the squad that reached the semi finals in Qatar.
The solid play breaker helped his nation keep clean sheets against European giants like Croatia, Belgium, Spain and Portugal.
During the recent international break, Amrabat played for full 90 minutes as Morocco went on to beat five-time World champions, Brazil, for the first time in history.
The 46-capped international was also heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in the winter transfer window and Fiorentina were demanding a fee of £43.8million for their superstar midfielder (CdS via Paisley Gates).
Last year, Man Utd splashed a big amount to sign Casemiro from Real Madrid and the Samba star is arguably the best defensive midfielder in the world.
His arrival has had a hugely positive impact at Old Trafford but the team has suffered when he has been absent (suspended).
In such a situation, do you think Man Utd should sign another holding midfield star? Should they pay £43.8million to finally sign Sofyan Amrabat next summer?
