As per The Mirror (news image provided below), Man Utd will seal the £64m move for the center forward today.

The news source have mentioned that Hojlund will sign a five-year deal with the Old Trafford outfit with an option for a further year.

Erik ten Hag has been searching for a new striker for a long time this summer and finally, his search is complete. United have agreed to make a £64m initial payment to Atalanta and further £8m in add-ons.

In all fairness, Man Utd needed a proven quality goal scorer and they have been linked with Harry Kane and Serie A top scorer, Victor Osimhen.

However, the above mentioned duo had enormous price tags. It will be fair to say that £64m is a massive fee for a 20-year-old striker, who is yet to prove his worth in world football.

He only netted 9 goals in the Italian league last term but Ten Hag believes the youngster is going to be great for United.

Rasmus Hojlund is expected to make his debut in the pre-season on Saturday and should be ready for the start of the new Premier League campaign this month.
