Manchester United have entered a new era under Ruben Amorim who is looking to leverage his success in Portugal in Sporting CP and attempt to do something similar with a struggling team here in Old Trafford.
Amorim has brought over things from Portugal to his new job. For starters, he brought a majority of his coaching staff to Old Trafford who were familiar with his ways.

He also brought with him the 3-4-3 formation that served him so much success with Sporting CP.
If he were to continue on the same track of doing things that served him well at Sporting, one can expect the club to focus a lot on their youth recruitment going forward.
Right on cue, as per River Noticias, Man Utd are interested in signing talented River Plate youngster Franco Mastantuono.
The record English champions have been told that a fee of around £37million would be sufficient to sign the 17-year-old Argentinian. Predominantly a natural number 10 who is magical with the ball at his feet, he can also play from the right.
In 41 games across all competitions for River Plate this season, he has scored four times and provided three assists.
If he plays in a better team, and as he continues to develop in age, it is only a matter of time before he starts getting even better.
Even if Man Utd sign Franco Mastantuono, one would assume they plan on loaning the teenager out to continue his development for a couple of seasons if not more. Throwing him in the firing line at such a young age can’t be wise.
It remains to be seen what comes of this transfer saga and if United end up securing him.
