Manchester United have been after Goncalo Inacio for months and the latest reports indicate Sporting CP are willing to sell their prized asset.
According to AS, the Lions want activation of the player’s 60 million euros release clause to sell him but they are willing to agree to a payment plan.

The renowned Spanish source have mentioned that the Lisbon club are ready to accept an initial payment of £39m (45 million euros) and the remaining £13m (in add-ons) for Inacio.
As far as the suitors are concerned, for the January transfer window, it is stated that there are only two “real candidates”, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
AS claim the 22-year-old central defender is expected to leave Sporting CP in the January transfer window and the decision is close.
The Madrid based news source claim Inacio will decide his future (in weeks) by the end of November or early on in December.
The youngster was a key member of the Lions squad that won the Liga Nos title in 2021 after more than two decades.
At the moment, Sporting are on top of the table after winning 9 out of the opening ten games and have a great chance of winning the title again.
So, it is surprising that the Portuguese are willing to let their defensive leader leave in the middle of the season.
Nevertheless, Erik ten Hag must act fast as he needs to strengthen the defense at Old Trafford. In your view, should Man Utd offer £39m initial fee to sign Goncalo Inacio?
