Trippier Saul - Atletico

Atletico Madrid star, Saul Niguez, is consistently linked with a move away from the club and he could end up leaving the Wanda Metropolitano this month.

According to ABC (press image provided below), the future of the La Roja star is uncertain, the Rojiblancos would not force his exit but would facilitate the transfer if the right price is met.

Transfer: Man United ready to agree £83.2million contract with OT star – Report

The Spanish news outlet have mentioned that Manchester United are interested in signing the midfielder, who has a clause of 150 million euros in his contract.

However, for an amount one-third of his release clause i.e. 50 million euros (£43million), the reigning La Liga champions would allow the 26-year-old star to leave the club.

It is stated that the player has never publicly asked to leave but manager Diego Simeone needs to sign a striker who would cover/replace Luis Suarez and for that, money from Saul’s sale would help.

Man United dropped two points vs the Saints yesterday and it was evident that Ole’s men were unable to win the midfield battle because Pogba was not at his best. The Frenchman’s inconsistency is a major concern, so, the Red Devils must sign a versatile midfielder this month and Saul Niguez would be a top capture.

Old Trafford legend, Rio Ferdinand, is a big fan of the Spanish international and has recently backed the club to get his signing done (FIVE).

In your view, should Man Utd bid £43million to hire his services this month?
