Man Utd told £76million would get signing done – Report

Sweden-Alexander-Isak

Another day, another story about Manchester United’s search for a quality center forward. Once again, the name of Alexander Isak is in the lime light.

Few days back, Mirror Sport revealed that Real Sociedad value the Swedish striker at £60million and the Red Devils are in the hunt to get his signing done.

Transfer: Man Utd have made contact to sign £400,000 a week star – Report

More recently, Spanish media outlet, Mundo Deportivo, have also reported that the Old Trafford outfit are interested in taking over the services of the 22-year-old starlet.

However, they face competition from arch rivals Liverpool, who have reportedly submitted an informal bid worth 70 million euros to sign the La Liga forward.

The Catalan news source state that Sociedad have made it clear that Man Utd or any other suitor would have to activate the release clause of £76million to sign Isak. Otherwise, he will not be sold.

United do need a young striker to replace the likes of Ronaldo and Cavani at Old Trafford and they need a player who will immediately hit the ground running.

Isak did score 17 times in the league last season but this term, he has only scored 8 goals in all competitions and in the last 14 league fixtures, the former Solna forward has only managed to find the net once.

So, the stats are not impressive and I think Man Utd should avoid signing him. What do you think?
