It will be fair to say that Manchester United are virtually out of the title race as they are miles behind the top three teams. The Red Devils must step up performances to earn Champions League qualification for next season.
For that, the Old Trafford outfit should improve the squad in the winter transfer window and a young Mali international in the form of Amadou Haidara is on their radar.

Few days back, The Times reported that Ralf Rangnick is targeting the signing of the £33million-rated RB Leipzig midfielder in order to implement his pressing style of football at Man Utd.
More recently, Sport Bild (via Sport Witness) have reported that the German manager wants priority signing of the 23-year-old former RB Salzurg player in the January transfer window.
The renowned German news source have mentioned that Man Utd lack players in the center of the park, who can consistently press and win the ball for the team. In such a situation, someone like Haidara can come in to reinforce the department.
We have not strengthened the central midfield since luring Fred back in 2018 when Jose Mourinho was in charge of the club. Therefore, it is time to splash the cash to sign a top player. The 24-capped Mali star can effectively play as a central/defensive midfielder and he could be the one to replace veteran Matic in the squad.
In your view, should Rangnick offer Leipzig £33million to bring Amadou Haidara to Old Trafford?
