Bakayoko’s current contract with PSV will expire in the summer of 2026 and as per the German journalist, he is valued at around £34.6million (40 million euros).
Liverpool were after him in the summer and even recent reports indicate, they are looking to secure Bakayoko (via Paisley Gates).
Last year, Man Utd paid a mammoth fee of £86million to sign Brazilian international, Antony, from Ajax and he has been one of the biggest flops at Old Traffod.
So far, the South American has featured in 20 games for Ten Hag this season and is yet to create/score a goal. Overall, he has netted 8 goals and provided 3 assists in 64 games for the club.
In contrast, Bakayoko has already scored four goals and provided no fewer than thirteen assists for PSV in all competitions.
The Eindhoven giants have won all sixteen of their league games thus far and heave reached the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League.
In all fairness, it is time to cut the losses, offload Antony and replace him with a talented right winger.
In your view, should Man Utd offer £34.6million to sign Johan Bakayoko next month?
