Transfer: Man Utd in talks to sign £50million midfielder – Report

The famous Spanish media outlet have mentioned that Man Utd are one of the clubs willing to agree a deal to sign Dembele before the closure of the winter transfer window on Monday.

As far as the competition is concerned, the Catalan source claim that the likes of Chelsea and Newcastle United are in the running to secure his signature as well.

It is stated that at Old Trafford, Ralf Rangnick is there and the German manager has been a huge admirer of the 24-year-old winger. Back in 2016, he even wanted to bring the attacker to Salzburg and has always spoken highly of his quality and potential.

Dembele earns (Marca) around 12 million euros a year (£192,000-a-week) and he will be available for free in the summer, however, a cheap transfer fee would be enough to sign him this month.

Sport claim that the suitors are in a race against time and will have to act fast if they want to get the signing done before the end of the transfer deadline.

Have your say – Should Man Utd agree a deal to sign Ousmane Dembele?

  1. Man United on and off pitch issues need to be sorted out before any signing could be made. Otherwise, the new player might likely contract further football virus from the other rebel players period.
