More recently, as per Spanish source, Nacional, Erik ten Hag wants to advance to sign the Three Lions defender for the Red Devils.
The Catalan media outlet have mentioned that Man Utd are willing to pay the asking fee of £42.5million (48 million euros) to sign Walker-Peters.
It is reported that the likes of Barcelona, Liverpool and Chelsea are also interested in hiring the services of the former Tottenham Hotspur player.
Walker-Peters is a versatile talent, who can effectively play on either side of the field. Last season, Southampton mainly utilized him as a left back. This term, he has mostly featured in the RB role.
Wan-Bissaka mainly warmed the bench in the first half of the campaign and did not even start a single league game.
However, after the World Cup, the ex Crystal Palace fullback has started and impressed for Man Utd in the last four Premier League fixtures.
Have your say – Do Man Utd need a new right back? Should Ten Hag pay £42.5million to sign Kyle Walker-Peters from the Saints this month?

Wan-Bissaka is better than all those guys mention and Dalot is wonderful so united does not need a right back anymore
