Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial could reportedly push for a summer exit with his representative said to be in advanced talks with Serie A champions Juventus.
The Frenchman has evolved into a fan favourite during his three seasons at United but his restricted gametime during the second half of last season has supposedly urged him to consider his future.
Of late, Martial’s agent confirmed that the 22-year-old wants to Old Trafford in the current transfer window and according to Euro United, via Calciomercato, Juventus are the leading candidates to pursue his services.
It is added that talks are at an advanced stage regarding the move but the Bianconeri will still have to match United’s asking price for the Frenchman which currently stands at around £75m.
A vast section of the United faithful have backed Martial to become a crucial figure under Mourinho in the future but the club’s reluctance to discuss a new contract suggests that the Frenchman may be heading through the exit door.
Martial is currently contracted to United until the summer of 2019 with the option of a further year and waiting for another 12 months may reduce his valuation significantly, should there be no progress with regards to an extension.
