Jose Mourinho Could ‘Hurt Rivals’ by Signing this 28-year-old Star

According to reports from Don Balon, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has backed Jose Mourinho to sign Arsenal star Mesut Ozil for Manchester United.

Mesut Ozil is undoubtedly one of the best creative footballers in Europe but the German international has not quite been able to produce the goods on a consistent basis since moving to Arsenal from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013.

While Ozil has produced numerous moments of magic, many have criticized him for not working hard enough for Arsenal’s cause and there is now a great possibility that the World Cup winner could be leaving the Emirates Stadium soon as he enters the final six months of his contract.

There have been recent reports that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is planning a reunion with Ozil at Old Trafford next summer and the 28-year-old is also said to be open to working with the Portuguese tactician once again – especially given their success at Madrid. This move could possibly weaken his rival Arsene Wenger’s side

Now according to reports from the Daily Star, claims are being made that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez is backing Mourinho to sign Ozil and is hopeful that his two former employees rekindle their partnership at Old Trafford.
