According to Tuttosport via TMW, Inter Milan right midfielder Antonio Candreva could be put up for sale this summer, with Manchester United and Chelsea believed to be keen on securing his signature.
The 31-year-old joined Inter from Lazio in 2016 and has been a regular for the Nerazzurri ever since, making a total of 71 appearances in all competitions. Candreva has featured 25 times in the Serie A this season but his future past the summer is uncertain.
Reports suggest Inter will put him up for sale for the right price which could be around £26m, and Manchester United and Chelsea are expected to go head-to-head to bring him to England.
The Sun say Candreva has long been linked with the Blues, but United are looking for cover at right wing-back if Matteo Darmian leaves in the summer, so they could make a substantial bid if they believe he has the required attributes.
Candreva has made eight assists in 25 games this season, creating 66 chances and making 39 successful dribbles. He’s probably far more attacking than defensive for Jose Mourinho but could be on their shortlist nevertheless. His prowess in the final third could bring more goals to the side.
