Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic could be made available for around £75million, according to reports carried out by the Metro.
Manchester United’s squad certainly looks very strong at the moment and as a testament to this fact, the Red Devils remained joint top of the Premier League table following a hard fought 1-0 victory over Southampton at the St. Mary’s Stadium on Saturday.
While things are going very well at the moment, manager Jose Mourinho is believed to be looking to further improve his squad and reinforcing the midfield will be a priority for the Portuguese boss, especially considering the advancing years of Michael Carrick.
Recently, reports claimed that Mourinho had identified Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as an ideal replacement for Carrick and now the Metro have carried out a story stating that the Serbian international could be signed for a fee of around £75million.
United can certainly match Lazio’s asking price for Milinkovic-Savic but the Red Devils will have to fight off fierce rivals Manchester City in the race to sign the 22-year-old as the Citizens have also shown keen interest in recent times.
