According to reports carried out by the Daily Express, Tottenham Hotspur have placed an asking price of around £54million for Danny Rose.
With Luke Shaw failing to impress since his arrival to Old Trafford a couple of seasons ago, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is currently believed to be in the market to sign a new left-back and Danny Rose has widely been mentioned as the main target for the Portuguese boss.
To further fuel the speculation regarding Rose’s move to United, the player himself recently went on an astonishing rant against Tottenham Hotspur’s wage structure and also revealed that he would be open to a move to the North of England if the opportunity presents itself.
Therefore talks of the Red Devils signing Rose has intensified in recent times and according to reports from the Daily Express, claims are being made that the Premier League giants can sign the 27-year-old for a fee of around £54million.
Tottenham allowed another unhappy full-back in Kyle Walker to leave for similar money this summer and the club hierarchy are hoping to cash in as much as they can from the potential sale of Rose as well, with Ben Davies being lined up as a potential replacement.
