According to reports, Manchester United are looking to reignite their pursuit of Inter Milan attacker Ivan Perisic.
It is no secret that Manchester United were keen on acquiring the services of Ivan Perisic during the summer transfer window and while the player wanted to join the Red Devils, Inter Milan were not willing to let their star go unless the Red Devils met their valuation of the player.
As a result, Perisic stayed put at the San Siro this summer and it looked like United’s hopes of signing the Croatian international at a later date were all but crushed after the player signed a new deal with the Nerazzurri last month.
However according to recent reports from Gazzetto dello Sport, it has been claimed that United are looking to reignite their interest in Perisic and are now confident of landing the attacker by activating his release clause of around £53million, which is included in his new contract at San Siro.
There is no doubting the fact that United boss Jose Mourinho is a keen admirer of Perisic’s abilities but with the duo of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford shining in the left side of attack, recruiting the Inter man would probably not be the best decision.
