According to reports from the Sun, Manchester United are looking to recall Timothy Fosu-Mensah from his loan spell at Crystal Palace.
Timothy Fosu-Mensah was allowed to join Crystal Palace on loan over the summer to link up with fellow Dutchman Frank De Boer and the young defender did establish himself as a regular for the Eagles during the first few matches of the Premier League season.
Following the sacking of De Boer though, Fosu-Mensah has not quite featured regularly for Palace under Roy Hodgson and it is clear to see that the 19-year-old has fallen down the pecking order under the ex-England manager after having not played a single minute in the Premier League since November 5.
Understandably, United are not happy with the lack of regular minutes coming Fosu-Mensah’s way and now according to reports from the Sun, the Red Devils are looking to recall the Dutchman back to Old Trafford during the upcoming January transfer window.
Fosu-Mensah has featured a number of times under United boss Jose Mourinho and his potential return to the club could prove to be a welcome addition for the Red Devils, who have struggled with injury problems at the back all season long.
