Manchester United have sent scouts to watch over Everton forward Henry Onyekuru, who is currently on loan at Belgian side Anderlecht – according to reports from ESPN FC.
Onyekuru joined Everton earlier this season from KAS Eupen but failed to earn a work permit to play in England which led the Merseyside club to loan back the talented forward to Belgium with Anderlecht.
During his time at Belgium so far, Onyekuru has shown immense potential and has already scored eight goals in the process in the current campaign.
Such exploits has led many clubs to take notice of the young forward, with parent club Everton also trying desperately to bring back the Nigerian international to Goodison Park before the expiration of his loan deal at Anderlecht.
There are a number of English clubs interested in Onyekuru at the moment and now according to reports from ESPN, Premier League giants Manchester United are one of the teams currently looking to sign the 20-year-old.
The Red Devils have reportedly sent scouts to watch over the talented forward in recent weeks in their bid to learn more about the player and it will be interesting to see if indeed they end up making a swoop for the young man.
