According to reports from the Daily Express, Gareth Bale wants to join Manchester United this summer but Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez could block the move.
Gareth Bale has shared a love-hate relationship with the Real Madrid fans over the past few years and the Welshman was roundly booed by the Santiago Bernabeu faithful during their 2-2 draw against Valencia during the weekend.
As a result of such a negative reception, Bale is said to be considering making a move away from Madrid and long time admirers Manchester United have been touted to make a £93million swoop for the ex-Tottenham Hotspur star.
Now in an update to the transfer saga provided by the Daily Express, claims are being made that Bale wants to join United during the next few days but Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez could prove to be a stumbling block.
Perez is said to be not willing to sanction the sale of Bale unless Madrid can sign a replacement and with their top target Kylian Mbappe expected to be leaving for PSG as well as due to the fact that there are only a few days left in the transfer window, United could end up missing out on their coveted target once again.
