Manchester United fans divided on Victor Lindelof following his display in the Red Devils’ 2-0 victory over Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.
Victor Lindelof has not looked impressive since his arrival to Manchester United from Benfica over the summer and the defender received a lot of criticism following his horror show during the Red Devils’ 2-1 defeat against Huddersfield Town last weekend.
Despite his poor performance though, manager Jose Mourinho persisted with Lindelof in the starting lineup for the midweek Carabao Cup clash against Swansea City and the defender put in a rather solid performance during the encounter as United claimed a comfortable 2-0 victory.
Following the game, United fans gave their thoughts regarding Lindelof’s display in South Wales and many were sympathetic towards the defender, urging their fellow supporters to give him more time to prove himself.

Vidic Evra & De Gea were poor to begin with & I remember clearly & look how they all turned out. Lindelof is decent Jose will coach him

However, not everyone was impressed with Lindelof and a section of the United fans also stated that the club could have saved themselves £30million by not purchasing the defender and giving an opportunity to youngster Axel Tuanzebe instead.
No issue with Lindelof but could we have saved £30m and had Tuanzebe as back up?
