As reported by the Bleacher Report, Manchester United have apparently been handed a boost in their hopes of signing Monaco midfielder Fabinho.
Manchester United splashed around £40million to acquire the services of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea recently but despite the big money arrival of the Serbian international, it is believed that manager Jose Mourinho is still in the market to sign another midfield player – as a potential long term replacement for the veteran Michael Carrick.
Monaco star Fabinho has been a player who gets consistently linked with a move to Old Trafford and Mourinho is believed to be a keen admirer of the Brazilian international, who played a key role in helping his side to the Ligue 1 title last season.
Now in an apparent boost to United’s hopes of acquiring the services of the £40.6million-rated Fabinho, revelations have been made that the 23-year-old stormed out of training during Monaco’s practice match session at the La Turbie mountains recently following an alleged spat with teammate Kylian Mbappe.

While such incidents are commonplace during training sessions, it is believed that Fabinho is currently unhappy at Monaco after seeing the club sell a host of their top players this summer and he could also be open to leaving the Stade Louis II, especially if United make a big money offer.
