Manchester United handed huge boost ahead of Barcelona clash

Manchester United have been provided with a huge boost with the news that star attacking midfielder Juan Mata has returned to training following his injury.

Manchester United have enjoyed a very successful pre-season tour of the United States so far and have claimed four victories from their four matches against LA Galaxy, Real Salt Lake, Manchester City and most recently Real Madrid.

Following such success, manager Jose Mourinho has labeled the overall tour as ‘perfect’ and United will now be looking to cap off their fine campaign with another victory when they square off against Barcelona at the FedEx Field, Landover, Maryland on Thursday.

Now as a huge boost ahead of the blockbuster clash, Manchester United could have Juan Mata available for selection as he returned to training following an injury – as reported by the club’s official website.

Mata had suffered an ankle injury during the clash against Real Salt Lake, which resulted him in missing the games against Manchester City and Real Madrid but the Spaniard has now returned to individual training at United’s base in Georgetown University, Washington DC and could now well be able to feature in the clash against Barcelona.
