Manchester United have been provided with a boost in their aspirations of signing Gareth Bale as Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez is said to have been left frustrated with the winger, according to the Daily Star.
Gareth Bale has enjoyed a very successful time since moving to Real Madrid back in the summer of 2015 as he has played key roles in helping Los Blancos claim three Champions League titles over the past four seasons.
That said, Bale has not completely won over the Real Madrid faithful due to some inconsistent performances and many in the Spanish capital have also been left frustrated with the Welshman’s proneness to injury.
Bale recently picked up an injury which ruled him out of Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Espanyol during the weekend and the latest blow was the 13th time the ex-Tottenham Hotspur man has missed out matches due to fitness related problems.
As a result, Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez is set to have been left fed up with Bale’s injury record and he is now allow the Welsh international to leave the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season in order to purchase another more reliable option.
Bale being made available is certainly good news for Manchester United as they have been long time admirers of the attacker and it will be interesting to see if the Red Devils will finally land their coveted target next summer.
