Manchester United Handed Opportunity to Sign European Golden Boy

According to reports from the Metro, Manchester United have been handed the opportunity to sign Renato Sanches.

Renato Sanches has failed to live up to expectations following his £30million move from Benfica to Bayern Munich last summer and it looks very likely that the Portuguese international will be leaving the Allianz Arena before the end of the transfer window in a couple of days’ time.

A move to England has widely been mentioned as a possibility for Sanches and the 19-year-old has been linked with a transfer to Liverpool in recent times.

Throughout the summer though, Sanches has also been touted to join Manchester United and according to reports from the Metro, claims have been made that the Red Devils have been handed the opportunity to sign the Portuguese international after he was made available on a loan deal.

Sanches was completely left out of the Bayern squad during their 2-0 victory over Werder Bremen on the weekend and reports state that United could still make a swoop for the 20-year-old as manager Jose Mourinho is believed to be an admirer of the youngster.

The midfielder was also named 2016’s European Golden Boy.
