According to Express, Manchester United are on the verge of signing Napoli left-back Faouzi Ghoulam.
Manchester United have been looking to sign a new left back for a while now as manager Jose Mourinho is believed to have expressed his displeasure regarding the options he currently has in the position at Old Trafford.
Although the likes of Ashley Young and Luke Shaw have done relatively well so far during the current campaign, Mourinho is believed to be looking for better options to enable United to bridge the gap on rivals and league leaders Manchester City.
A host of names have been linked with a move to United in recent times and now according to reports from the Guardian, the Red Devils have been touted to make a move for Napoli’s Faouzi Ghoulam – who is among the most highly rated fullback in the world.
The 25-year-old is currently into the peak of his powers and is regarded as a key member of the Italian table toppers, Napoli, which means that United will need to pay big for his services – with a fee of£53 million being bandied about.
