Jose Mourinho Could Haunt Chelsea By Signing £120,000-A-Week Star

According to reports from the Daily Star, Manchester United are plotting a shock move for Chelsea defender David Luiz.

David Luiz’s long term future at Chelsea has been cast into a huge shadow after he was completely omitted from the Blues side that squared off against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge ahead of the recent international break.

It is believed that the reason behind Luiz’s omission was due to a bust-up with manager Antonio Conte and as a result, the Brazilian centre-back is allegedly very unhappy at Stamford Bridge.

In addition, £120,000-a-week  player is also said to be angry at the Chelsea board for not backing him after he was excluded by Conte from the Chelsea squad for the match against United and it now looks certain that the 30-year-old could be leaving Stamford Bridge in the near future.

According to shock reports from the Daily Star, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has expressed an interest in acquiring the wantaway Luiz from Chelsea and the Red Devils could make a swoop during the upcoming January transfer window.

Mourinho and Luiz have worked together at Chelsea a few years ago and the defender could probably be tempted by a possibility of a reunion with the Portuguese boss.
