According to reports carried out by the Metro, Manchester United have initiated contacts with Barcelona over the potential signing of winger Jose Arnaiz.
Arnaiz is a very talented youngster who recently made his debut for the Barcelona first team during their 3-0 victory over Murcia in the Copa del Rey and many have touted the 22-year-old to become a regular at the Nou Camp in the foreseeable future.
Due to his promise, a host of top clubs across Europe have also expressed their interest in signing Araniz and reports have claimed that the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich all remain in the hunt at the moment.
Now according to reports from the Metro, United as well as Arsenal have already made an approach in an attempt to sign Arniaz and it will be interesting to see which English giant eventually manages to land the services of the youngster.
Arniaz is believed to have a release clause of around £17.8million on his current contract at Barcelona and United would surely be landing a bargain if they manage to lure the attacker to Old Trafford for the aforementioned price.
