According to reports from the Daily Mirror, Manchester United are offering striker Romelu Lukaku a huge six figure bonus if he finishes the campaign as top goalscorer in the Premier League.
Many eyebrows were raised when Manchester United decided to splash as much as £75million to acquire the services of Romelu Lukaku this summer but it is fair to state that the Belgian international has already managed to silence his critics.
Lukaku has scored a stunning six goals in as many Premier League matches for Manchester United this season and he recently grabbed the winner in the Red Devils’ 1-0 victory over Southampton at the St. Mary’s Stadium on Saturday.
On current form, Lukaku is on course to score a bagful of goals this season and now Manchester United are said to have handed the 24-year-old further incentive to score consistently throughout the course of the campaign.
According to reports carried out by the Daily Mirror, United have offered Lukaku a huge six figure bonus if he manages to finish the current Premier League campaign as top scorer and for a striker who has already managed a whopping 153 career goals at the age of just 24, the incentive is certainly a challenge he will look to thrive on.
