Manchester United have reportedly decided against offloading Anthony Martial during this summer’s transfer window, despite his representative confirming that a possible exit could be on the cards.
On Wednesday, Martial’s agent Philippe Lamboley revealed to RMC that his client would seek an exit from Old Trafford after the failure to negotiate a new long-term contract.
Despite this, United appear unlikely to grant Martial’s wish with BBC’s Simon Stone now revealing that the club have no intention of parting ways with the Frenchman.
Been told @ManUtd have no intention of selling Anthony Martial. Still has one year + option for additional season left on his contract.

Martial currently has one year contract left on his existing deal with United but the club’s hierarchy have the option of a 12-month extension clause, which offer them some leeway to negotiate his future.
The former Monaco star was unquestionably one of United’s standout performers last term heading into the month of January but the mid-season arrival of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal genuinely hampered his gametime.
United boss Jose Mourinho has normally tended to give preference to experience over youth in his first XI and Martial appears to be in a difficult position prior to the pre-season tour next month.
The Frenchman broke into the starting lineup last term after impressing during the United States tour and it will be interesting to see whether he has a similar attitude this time around, if he stays.
