“Afterwards he contacted Manchester United who invited us 23-29 October. United will judge him in several different ways as I have understood it. But if they like him, Rines will be invited to their academy.”
Rines also expressed his delight upon being invited by Manchester United, saying, “It feels great. I’ve dreamed about it since I was little. I’m a stable inner field player, good game spirit, power and a good shot.”
Arifi was identified as part of United’s recent scouting program in outside of England. The Premier League giants have already found multiple players through the system such as Di’Shon Bernard and Arnau Puigmal amongst others through their scouting network in the region and they are hopeful of unearthing another gem in Arifi as well.
The teenage sensation is said to be a supporter of United, having previously spoken highly of the likes of Paul Pogba, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and he will surely be keen on following in the footsteps of his idols at the club.
