According to reports from the Independent, Manchester United are looking to sign promising midfielder Marcus McGuane from rivals Arsenal.
Jose Mourinho has been criticized throughout his career for not giving young players a proper run in the first team but the Portuguese manager seems to have moved on from his aversion of giving youngsters a chance since joining Manchester United in 2016.
The likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard among others have consistently featured for United over the past 12 months or so and the Red Devils are also believed to be making moves in the transfer market to sign promising youngsters in addition to acquiring world class names.
Now according to reports carried out by the Independent, claims have been made that United are currently eyeing up a swoop for Arsenal midfielder Marcus McGuane and the Premier League giants are confident of signing the 18-year-old as he only has a year remaining on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium.
McGuane is a talented midfielder who captained the England under-18s and along with United, the likes of Manchester City as well as Italian side Napoli are believed to be monitoring the teenage sensation at the moment.
