Manchester United could reportedly lodge a mega-money offer to sign Juventus forward Paulo Dybala at the end of the campaign. The Argentina international has progressed into a top-class prospect for the Serie A champions following his move from Palermo in the summer of 2015.
According to The Mirror, the Red Devils have set their sights on signing Dybala next summer following his excellent start to the 2017/18 season. The attacker has found the net 12 times in just eight appearances for the Bianconeri, and he is just seven goals shy of equalling last season’s tally of 19 goals across all competitions.
United chief executive Ed Woodward has had a good connection with the Turin giants since Paul Pogba’s £89m move to Old Trafford over a year ago, and he is said to have already informed Giuseppe Marotta over their interest in Dybala’s services.
Spanish giants Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in Dybala, but United are planning to a lodge a club-record £155m offer next summer – in order to fend off the pursuit from the Camp Nou outfit.
Manchester United have already profited from their recent transfer business with the likes of Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku playing key roles in their strong start to the Premier League season. Victor Lindelof has yet to make an appearance in the top-flight, but he has been offered starts in the Cup and European games.
