According to reports from the Sun, Juventus are preparing a £22.5million swoop for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
Marouane Fellaini has been a polarizing figure among the Manchester United fans ever since his arrival to Old Trafford back in 2013 and while he may never be able to win over everyone associated with the Red Devils, there is no doubting the fact that the Belgian international is considered an important player by current manager Jose Mourinho.
In fact, Fellaini featured prominently for United under former managers David Moyes as well as Louis van Gaal and Mourinho has consistently defended the 29-year-old over the past 12 months despite a lot of criticism directed at the player from the media as well as the fans.
Fellaini may have been able to win over Mourinho but the recent arrival of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea could see the ex-Everton man’s game time limited during the course of the current campaign and a move away from Old Trafford has been seen as a possibility.
Now according to reports from the Sun, claims are being made that Italian champions Juventus are currently considering a move for Fellaini.
The Old Lady’s first choice at the moment is PSG’s Blaise Matuidi but if they miss out on the Frenchman, manager Max Allegri is said to be keen on signing Fellaini and will be ready to pay as much as £22.5million for the midfielder.
