French forward Anthony Martial reportedly has no intention to leave Manchester United at the end of the season. The 22-year-old has been associated with a positive move elsewhere amid his reduced gametime, but according to M.E.N, he is prepared to stay put with the club.
An earlier report from RMC Sport suggested that Martial could part ways with the club after having fallen out-of-favour under Jose Mourinho. The attacker has managed just two league starts since Alexis Sanchez’s arrival at Old Trafford, and the French publication claimed that the forward may pursue a fresh challenge with Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur among those interested.
However, M.E.N has now produced a contradicting story which reveals that the Frenchman has no plans of leaving the Mancunian giants. Martial has undoubtedly witnessed his best season in the United, and his tally of 21 goals and assists puts him only behind Romelu Lukaku in the contribution list.
During his two-and-a-half year spell with the club, Martial has also made himself a fan favourite, and it would come as a huge surprise if United are to end their association with the attacker. A sense of negativity has been surrounding Martial’s future in recent weeks, but the Frenchman can erase any doubts over his future by making an impact in the coming games.
