If reports from the Metro are to be believed, Manchester United have joined Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Everton attacker Ross Barkley.
Ross Barkley has made it clear in no uncertain terms that he will be looking to leave Everton this summer and the young attacker has been strongly linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
However, Spurs have not yet been able to sign Barkley as they are unwilling to match Everton’s whopping £50million asking price for the Englishman and the protracted negotiations could well end up collapsing if an agreement is not reached soon.
Now in a further development, claims have been made that even Manchester United have joined in the race to sign Barkley and the extremely wealthy Red Devils could well consider agreeing to Everton’s demands for their prized asset.
In addition to United, even Chelsea and Arsenal are believed to be keen admirers of Barkley and the London side could also step up their interest in the coming days.
