Manchester United are open to using Real Madrid’s interest in Marcus Rashford in order to acquire the services of Marco Asensio, according to reports from the Daily Express.
Marcus Rashford has burst into the scene at Manchester United in sensational fashion over the past 18 months or so, and the 19-year-old is already considered one of the hottest talents plying their trade in Europe.
Due to his exploits, Spanish giants Real Madrid are said to be interested in acquiring the services of Rashford and the European champions are believed to have viewed the England international as an ideal long-term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Manchester United will surely not want to lose the services of Rashford anytime soon though but according to surprise reports from the Daily Express, it has been claimed that the Red Devils would entertain the possibility of selling their young star if they can land Marco Asensio from Real Madrid in exchange.
Much like Rashford, Asensio is one of the brightest young talents in Europe and it will be interesting to see if the two giants of European football entertain a swap deal involving the extremely talented young duo.
