Manchester United attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan has hailed his new teammates Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic as well as Victor Lindelof.
Manchester United have had a lot of hype surrounding them all summer long due to their lavish spending in the transfer market and it has to be said that the Red Devils most certainly justified the hype by putting in a stunning performance during the 4-0 triumph over West Ham United during the Premier League opener.
Much to the delight of the fans as well as manager Jose Mourinho, United’s two big money recruits in Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic both put in sensational performances during the encounter against West Ham and the arrival of the duo has clearly significantly strengthened the Red Devils’ squad.
Attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has now also gone on to speak about the influence of the club’s new recruits in Lukaku, Matic as well as Victor Lindelof and has hailed the trio as ‘Manchester United’ players.
Mkhitaryan was quoted saying by the Daily Mail, “It was not only Matic. I want to mention as well the other two new signings, Lindelof and Lukaku. They are very good players. They are, I think, Manchester United players.
“Matic does a big job on the pitch. He tries to recover all the balls. He defensively does a big job. Lukaku scored his goals and Lindelof is still going to have time to show himself. So I want to say all the players are good signings and they are going to help us a lot.”
