Man Utd Star to consider ‘exit’ from the club after latest development

According to reports from the Daily Mail, Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is contemplating leaving Old Trafford following the arrival of Nemanja Matic.

Manchester United continued their massive spending spree in the summer transfer window by acquiring the services of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea for around £40million and although the price tag is probably a bit steep for a 29-year-old, his arrival to the club certainly turns the Red Devils into genuine contenders for the Premier League title during the upcoming campaign.

In addition, Matic’s recruitment means that the competition for places in the Manchester United side will be fiercer than ever and there has been speculation that manager Jose Mourinho could well elect to offload a few players so as to trim the squad.

One of the players touted to be departing United is Marouane Fellaini, who has been linked to Galatasaray, and while Mourinho has stated that the Belgian international will not be leaving anytime soon, reports from the Daily Mail claim otherwise.

It is allegedly believed that Fellaini is concerned that the arrival of Matic will severely dent his hopes of earning regular first team football for United next season and with this being a World Cup year, the 29-year-old will consider a move abroad in the January transfer window if he does not get enough time on the pitch during the first half of the campaign.
