Manchester United ‘in talks’ with agent over a sensational $208million deal: report

Paulo Dybala

According to reports carried out by the Metro, Manchester United are in contact with Paulo Dybala’s agent over a potential £155million transfer.

Manchester United clearly need to strengthen their squad significantly in order to be able to challenge rivals Manchester City for the Premier League title and given the gulf in class between the two sides, the Red Devils are already said to have identified targets to pursue in the upcoming transfer windows.

Improving the attacking lineup has been seen as one of the main priorities for United and the player who has consistently been linked with a move to Old Trafford over the past few weeks has been Juventus superstar Paulo Dybala.

Dybala is arguably one of the best attackers in world football at the moment and he has been in sensational form during the current campaign as well, scoring 12 goals in just 17 Serie A appearances so far.

However, there has been speculation surrounding the long-term future of Dybala in recent times as he is said to have fallen out of favour with manager Max Allegri and as a result, has been benched for the last two league encounters in Italy.

This alleged fallout as well as the fact that Dybala’s agent and brother, Gustavo, is pushing for a salary hike to around £9million-a-year for his client has cast the 24-year-old’s future at Turin in doubt and now according to reports, the Argentine could well be heading towards Manchester United.

Dybala is believed to favour a move to Old Trafford over Real Madrid as he would be reuniting with his ex-teammate Paul Pogba and claims are being made that the Red Devils will be able to sign the attacker for a club record fee of around £155million($208m).
