Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing two more signings before the close of the summer transfer window. The Red Devils have already recruited three players in the form of Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic this summer, but the manager is still on the search for further additions.

According to The Manchester Evening News, the Special One has not ended his pursuit of Ivan Perisic, who is the main target to bolster the wider positions. The Croatia international recently participated in the Inter Milan’s pre-season tour of Asia where they beat both Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

The Nerazzurri are said to demand Anthony Martial on loan as part of a summer agreement, but Mourinho would rather prefer a straight cash deal with the Frenchman considered as an integral part of his first-team plans for the upcoming league season.

Meanwhile, Mourinho is also said to be eyeing a new left-back/left wing-back with both Luke Shaw and Ashley Young still on the sidelines. Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind have been effective on occasions, but the Portuguese coach is planning an upgrade with Tottenham Hotspur’s Danny Rose earmarked as the prime option.

Rose is due to recover from his long-term knee injury before the end of the month, but it is yet to be known whether Tottenham Hotspur would consider his sale, given they have spent nothing during this summer’s transfer window.
