According to reports from the Metro, Manchester United will be able to acquire the services of Gareth Bale if they place a bid in the region of around £85million.
Manchester United’s admiration of Gareth Bale has been no secret and while the Red Devils have failed with numerous attempts to sign the Welshman in the past, they stand a good chance of finally doing so in the foreseeable future.
It is believed that Madrid are getting frustrated with Bale’s propensity to pick up injuries and are now ready to sell the former Tottenham Hotspur superstar for a fee of around £85million – if reports from the Metro are true.
The aforementioned price is certainly well within the financial capabilities of United but that being said, Bale has consistently failed to prove his fitness and signing the 28-year-old would surely prove to be a big gamble for the Red Devils.
On the other side of the spectrum, Bale remains arguably one of the best attacking players in world football at the moment and he could well prove to be the crucial figure which helps United bridge the gap between themselves and rivals Manchester City.
